Are appointments required?

Yes, so that we can give each bride our undivided attention, our Wedding Dress selection suites are by appointment only. Schedule your appointment here on our website or feel free to email us directly.

How long are appointments?

Wedding Dress appointments are 2 hours in length. All Wedding Dresses in our collection are available for you to try on during your appointment. Accessories appointments are 1 hour in length.  

When should I order my Wedding Dress?

Bridal dresses take approximately 6-9 months to arrive from the designers to our shop. We encourage brides to choose their Dream Wedding Dress 9-12 months prior to their wedding date. Rush delivery may be available for an additional cost.  

What should I bring to my Wedding Dress Selection Appointment?

Wearing a strapless bra and undergarments that are similar to what you will be wearing on your wedding day is recommended. Heels of a similar height to which you plan on wearing on your wedding day are also helpful. 

Do you do alterations and fittings in your shop?

Nearly all Wedding Dresses will need alterations in order to fit you “just right” on the Big Day. Free Love does        do fittings and alterations “in shop” but will gladly recommend our favorite tailors, where fittings and alterations take place in the tailor’s own space, where they will have access to all of the proper equipment and materials needed to make you and your gown look their best!

Do you carry Plus Size Bridal Dresses?

Yes! While Free Love is a boutique with most Wedding Dresses available to try on in sizes 8-20, we also have plus size wedding dress samples and are committed to sourcing beautiful, fashionable, and stylish Plus Size Wedding Dresses. Dresses are available to be ordered from size 2-34 and sizing will be determined after careful measurements are taken at your appointment.

How many guests should I bring to my Wedding DRess Selection Appointment?

Do you do wedding gown preservations?

We recommend that you limit your guests to 4 or less during your visit at Free Love in Cape May. We are an intimate Wedding Dress shop with limited seating and have found that choosing to bring only a few guests whose opinions you value the most, will make your experience and decision making much more enjoyable. 

Yes, we have a great company that we use for Wedding Gown Cleanings & Preservations.  They have been doing it for literally 100 years!! All gowns welcome, even if you purchased your gown at another location.
On our website there is an option where you can schedule an appointment, for 'Gown Preservation Drop Off'  where you can schedule to drop off your gown. You drop it off and we take care of the rest! The gown will come in a pretty white box with a great display window, so you can see the gown inside the box. If you have a veil, belt, or other accessories they are  included too!.
